  7.      It's just a thought,.... but I hope this finds fertile ground :)
  8.      In the past we need politicians to go to a central meeting place
  9.      to represent our needs or desires for our communities to the
  10.      central
  11.      government,(for those of us living in nominal democrasies , that
  12.      is).
  13.  
  14.      However with the advent of the Internet and the relative ease of
  15.      use
  16.      of the WWW, I believe the time has come for people to resume
  17.      personal
  18.      responsibilty for managing their lives and their communities.
  19.      The barriers to open communications are crumbling.
  20.  
  21.      Nearly everyone would much rather not have a government reaching
  22.      into
  23.      their pocket to provide us with services we have not chosen or
  24.      projects
  25.      which only serve to line their pockets or the pockets of the
  26.      friends.
  27.  
  28.      While there are many people without direct access to the web or a
  29.  
  30.      personal computers, that barrier could easily be overcome,(much
  31.      as a
  32.      group of people tore down The Berlin Wall).

  34.      It's just a thought.........
